NOTICE
TO ALL
TERMINAL EQUIPMENT DEALERS (TED) ON MONTSERRAT
The Montserrat Info-Communications Authority (MICA) in an effort to promote effective participation of all segments of the info-communications industry on island, and in exercising licensing and regulatory functions in respect of all equipment used in connection with a licensed info-communication service, would like to remind all telecommunications equipment dealers that they are required to seek the necessary approval from the Authority, in relation to their business operations. This is in accordance with Schedule 4 “Miscellaneous Fees,” of the Info-Communications Fees Rule S.R.O. 37 of 2011,
In these rules, “terminal equipment dealer” means any person who imports, exports, repairs, maintains, sells or in any way trades in any telecommunications equipment that is specific for a licenced info-communications service.
The procedure to apply for a license is available to the public at its office or on its website (www.mica.ms).
The office is located in the John Osborne’s building directly above the Kings Supermarket on the St. Peter’s main road.
